Introduction

Electrical installation applies to industries, shopping malls, offices, domestic premises, etc. They are subject to compliance with the Electricity Act, relevant Regulations, and Code of Practices, among other things. Practitioners, operators, and owners of these installations must have the necessary knowledge of the laws and design principles of the installations so that they can institute appropriate preventive measures at the design stage to avoid future unnecessary electrical accidents.

The purpose of this course is to provide the learners with an understanding of Singapore's electrical installation, Basic design concepts, and hands-on experience with the necessary testing and commissioning up to 200A. Upon completing this course, Learners can work more efficiently with better practical knowledge.

 

Objective: 

 

This two-day course covers practical knowledge and skills up to 200A. Those working in the electrical installation, willing to embark on the related electrical works, can gain the necessary knowledge and skills relevant to the industry practice, installation & its applications. There will be a Continuous assessment in the form of random quizzes, group activities, and case studies to strengthen the understanding of theory concepts. Provide hands-on experience to handle the job effectively up to 200A

 

Who Should Attend

This course is suitable for electricians, electrical technicians, supervisors, etc., who have some basic knowledge of electrical installation, construction, operation, maintenance work, etc.

The course is also suitable for those preparing for LEW-8 (Electrical Technician) competency.

For those who perform electrical installation work and are seeking to understand the 'why' and 'how ', this course offers a comprehensive understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects, up to 200A.
